It’s really ambitious to attempt a luxury, ecologically-friendly resort in San Andrés. To that end, I feel like they are getting very close to goal. The environment is stunning and manicured: well-kept gardens everywhere, 3 pools, amazing biodiversity on the property, and that incredible Caribbean ocean view. It is truly special in that sense. Other highlights: - the day-to-day staff is excellent (Romi - thank you!) - the peace and quiet is hard to match - very good exercise facility if you’re a business traveler or working from distance to maintain routine - the food is, in general, exquisite

The best part about Solare Ecohotel is the kitchen! The food is incredible, so you should be sure to stop by and enjoy a meal or two even if you don[t end up staying here. The rooms are very cute and clean! The bed is incredibly comfortable and the shower is very nice as well. The pool area is super spacious. The hotel is located farther away from the bustle of the center, which I appreciated! They offer an option of shuttle to the center, but I did not use the service. This is a great hotel option if you are looking for a calm quiet getaway.

It was nice and quiet. There was a ladder into the ocean across the road which was fun to go swimming and very private. The service was great and the room was very comfortable. If you stay here I would suggest hiring a moto or buggy because there is not a lot of places nearby to eat.

The place was beautiful, very clean, and the room was spacious for both of us. It gave me a forestry vibe, very quiet. Staff was wonderful, especially at the restaurant they were all exquisite and friendly. Made us feel like we were friends. The view from hotel to ocean nice.
